Our long-standing partnership with Maple has allowed us to provide plan members with direct access to a general practitioner (GP) within minutes, from any smartphone, computer, or tablet.
Maple’s telemedicine product has been offered as an optional addition to benefit plans at a per-employee per-month (PEPM) rate since December 2019. For plans without Maple coverage in place, preferred out-of-pocket rates are provided to plan members.
Two PEPM models are offered to plan sponsors – Standard and Premium. Please note that Headspace Plus access (guided meditations and content) will be decommissioned within the Premium model as of June 30, 2023. All other features available as part of the Premium model will remain unchanged – including unlimited GP consultations, 24/7/365 GP availability, an authorization form completion service, and specialist referrals to the public system.

“I can honestly say that Maple helped to save my child's life. Three days ago, our youngest son started vomiting and experiencing loss of appetite and stomach pain. On Saturday morning, I used Maple to reach a doctor online here in Nova Scotia. Within five minutes I was connected to a doctor. After quickly reviewing John’s symptoms, he advised me to immediately take him to the hospital. Five hours after being admitted, my son had an emergency appendectomy at the IWK Children’s Hospital due to a ruptured appendix.
