Good news:&nbsp; effective April 1st, 2022, Inkblot mental health therapy is included as one of your extended health care benefits.
Your SureHealth plan provides coverage for two hours of individual and two hours of couples&rsquo; Inkblot virtual talk therapy.&nbsp; There are no out-of-pocket expenses for these four hours of therapy.&nbsp; If you&rsquo;d like to continue your therapy, additional virtual sessions are easy to arrange. More good news:&nbsp; Inkblot&rsquo;s fees are significantly lower than traditional in-person therapy, and eligible for coverage and reimbursement under the Psychology benefit of your plan.
Inkblot is unique, adding an extra level of comfort to therapy with a robust, flexible matching process that connects you with the therapist whose credentials and expertise align with your clinical needs. As a SureHealth customer, you have 4 free virtual visits per family every year with Canadian-licensed general health care practitioners through the Maple platform. &nbsp;These virtual visits are available 7 days a week, 365 days a year (7 am to midnight). The average wait time is just a few minutes, and you can be in the comfort of home. During your virtual consultation, you&rsquo;ll receive diagnoses, prescriptions, medical notes and lab requisitions, as necessary.
Many doctors offer virtual visits, but availability depends on their calendar and office hours. Through Maple, you&rsquo;ll have access to health care practitioners when you need it, without the wait.
If you decide to use Maple for more than four virtual visits during the year, you&rsquo;ll receive GreenShield preferred pricing.

<h3>Physiotherapy delivered virtually</h3>
Phzio Canada provides access to registered physiotherapists who deliver a quality virtual care experience via the Phzio platform. Treatment begins with a live video call on the Phzio platform with a registered physiotherapist who will complete your assessment to determine if a virtual experience is right for you. If you&rsquo;re a good fit, a customized treatment plan will be created by the physiotherapist who will monitor your progress along the way. Most patients see a 50% reduction in pain in three visits.
As a SureHealth&nbsp;customer, you have access to exclusive discounted rates of $59 for the initial video visit and $49 for each follow-up video visit. And, the rates you pay are eligible for coverage under the Physiotherapy benefit of your SureHealth plan. Best of all, you won&rsquo;t need to submit a claim &ndash; the physiotherapist takes care of it. They submit your claim directly to GreenShield following your virtual visit. You&rsquo;ll only pay out-of-pocket for the amount not reimbursed by your health plan.

<h2>Pharmacogenetic Testing</h2>
<h3>The right medication for you&hellip; revealed by your genes</h3>
We are each unique. That&rsquo;s positive. And because we are unique, medications don&rsquo;t always have the same effect on everyone. Knowing your genetic make-up and its influence on the way you process medications can be very helpful to you and your health care providers.
If you suffer from moderate to severe major depressive disorder and/or anxiety disorder (generalized or social), and if you&rsquo;ve tried and are not responding to the medications prescribed, you may be eligible for coverage for pharmacogenetic testing from GenXys.
To begin, we&rsquo;ll need to confirm that you meet the medical criteria so we ask that you and your physician or pharmacist complete the required pre-authorization forms. When approved, the cost of pharmacogenetic testing from GenXys will be eligible for coverage under the Medical Services benefit of your SureHealth&nbsp;plan.
Next, you visit the GenXys web page specially designed for SureHealth customers to register and set up your own account. GenXys will send a home collection kit to you, with instructions for self-administering the DNA test. (No need to worry &ndash; it&rsquo;s simply a swab of your lower gums.) Then you return the kit and your DNA sample to GenXys.
When the test results are ready, your health care provider will receive a summary report. Of course, you as the patient, can also login to your account and review the results.
The Pharmacogenetic Test Report will include recommendations that will help you and your health care provider to develop a personalized medication treatment plan that is based on your genetics.
While your health plan offers coverage towards GenXys pharmacogenetic testing for the treatment of specific mental health conditions, the Pharmacogenetic Test Report can assist you and your health care providers to optimize treatment options for other medical conditions that may arise in the future. After all, your genetic make-up won&rsquo;t change.

As a SureHealth customer, you have quick, easy access to unlimited free summary telephonic legal advice, offered in partnership with Sykes Assistance Services. It can help guide you through most major types of law including family, criminal, civil litigation, landlord and tenant, residential real estate and wills and estates. The advice lawyers will take all the time necessary to answer your questions.
You can also request that a lawyer draft a simple legal letter on your behalf, like a demand letter or travel consent letter. Review of simple legal documents (six pages or less, single sided) is another service offered to you, free of charge, as a SureHealth customer.
And if you want a referral to a lawyer in your area, Sykes Assistance Services can refer you to a local lawyer who will offer you a discount of 25% on legal fees (as long as the lawyer&rsquo;s account is paid within 30 days of receipt; the discount does not apply to real estate matters).
If you are a victim of identity theft, Sykes Assistance Services can help with that too. They will assign an Identity Restoration Consultant to your case who will assist you in restoring your identity until the matter is completely resolved.
