Our IT professionals focus on delivering innovative custom business applications and services that enable GSC to stand out as a specialist in the health benefits industry. As an employee on our IT team, you will have the opportunity to develop your technical and/or leadership skills, and deliver innovative solutions to our customers.  We have big plans, and we need talented and motivated IT specialists to help us get to where we want to go.

As a large custom development shop, we believe in integrating IT into all aspects of our business. We employ current technologies to design, develop and deliver the optimal platforms and solutions for supporting our customers’ goals, while also evolving our architecture to ensure robustness of features, performance and compliance. We push technology in new directions to add value to all aspects of benefit planning and administration:

  • Current application technologies are used, with infrastructure built on current concepts
  • Security, disaster recovery and technology research – all covered by GSC IT
  • Source code management, application builds, run books and deployment plans are all integral components of our application methodology
  • Applications are built, tested and run on our own internal cloud

HERE ARE SOME OF THE QUALIFICATIONS OUR IT SPECIALISTS OFTEN HAVE:

  • Experience with custom system design, development and implementation
  • Business application design and programming experience in an enterprise environment
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Experience using MS Presentation Server, MS Communication Server, Business Objects and MS TFS
  • University degree or Community College Certificate in Computer Science or equivalent
