CLIENT REPRESENTATIVE, INDIVIDUAL & ASSOCIATION SALES

We are looking to fill the position of Client Representative (CR), Individual & Association Sales in the Toronto office. The individual will work in conjunction with and as an integral part of the Individual & Association Team (IAT). This position reports to the Manager, Individual & Association Accounts.
ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THIS ROLE INCLUDE:
- Prepare materials for and assist with plan sponsor and advisor visits, meetings and events;
- Coordinate and assist in the production of product description collateral and promotional brochures;
- Assist with product marketing and research projects;
- Provide administrative support including filing, printing, photocopying, assembling/preparing packages for plan sponsors, advisors and members, and preparing communications and mailings as required;
- Manage promotional items/sponsorship requests and maintain a log;
- Handle plan sponsor/advisor requests for information and basic claims inquiries;
- Process and track Online Administration / WSS requests, handle annual web audit and updates;
- Run / prepare Business Objects reports as needed (standard and custom);
- Assist with creating / modifying MS Powerpoint presentations;
- Load medical condition exclusions in Advantage;
- Enter rate changes in Advantage and cross check for accuracy;
- Provide backup for coworkers as necessary; and
- Other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES INCLUDE:
He/She will also possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- University or college graduate
- 3 years or more of experience in the group and/or individual benefits industry in a sales office or administrative support role
- Understanding of benefits and administrative sales support, claim processes and systems, contracts and documentation
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Attention to detail with superior organizational and planning skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently in a team environment
- Accountable team member and strong team player
- Results oriented and customer focused
- Advanced computer skills (including MS Office products)
- Flexible, adaptable and willing to take on changing responsibilities and learn new tasks
- Ability to multitask
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Positive outlook
- Self-reliant with a strong work ethic
- Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
