Do you allow health and dental providers to submit claims online?

Sure do. providerConnect™ is a web portal for pharmacy, extended health and dental providers. It offers access to the most robust provider registry in our industry, secure services for direct deposit and online claiming (where applicable), claim forms, administration guidelines and more. In addition to the instant processing of drug and dental claims that our technology allows, providers can also submit claims online via Secure Services. These include:

As a health and dental specialist, who do you partner with for other benefits?

In short, we can partner with anyone, while still offering the “single carrier feel”. GSC’s Online Administration offers an option for multiple-carrier administration and billing – eliminating the need to duplicate efforts associated with two carrier administration systems. Plan sponsors can administer all aspects of their benefit plan, like producing a premium billing statement and remitting payment directly to the life and disability benefits carrier(s).

Who is your pharmacy benefit management partner?

We’re our own pharmacy benefit manager. We do not outsource this critical role – we have built and manage our own technology - and that means real-time support without waiting on overnight feeds from third parties.

What is your typical team structure for servicing accounts?

GSC brings a team approach, led by one of our experienced Account Executives and backed by experts across our organization. None of us are as smart as all of us, as we like to say.

Where are claims processed?

Paper claims are processed at our head office in Windsor, but since over 90% of our claims are received electronically and processed in under five seconds, we’re essentially processing claims from pharmacies and provider offices across Canada.

Which industries do you work with most frequently?

GSC supports a wide range of industries, including the municipal, health care, manufacturing, financial services and retail sectors.

What level of reporting can you provide?

GSC can slice and dice data in countless ways, and our suite of reporting (standard, custom, ad-hoc) gives administrators and advisors everything they need.
