“Public and private sectors should harmonize the approaches to access, affordability and quality of care for all Ontario residents.”
Bill 102 – the Transparent Drug System for Patients Act, 2006. (view our press release in the “News” section) was introduced on April 13, 2006. The bill received first and second reading, after which it was passed to the “Standing Committee on Social Policy” for review and public comment. Green Shield Canada was invited to comment on the bill and David Garner, President and CEO, presented our views to the Committee on May 29, 2006. We are very proud to have been one of the contributors to the original bill and to be invited to comment during the public hearings. Read comments here. |
