National Employee Benefits Day (Apr 2)
The International Foundation celebrates the third annual National Employee Benefits Day across Canada and the United States. National Employee Benefits Day was enacted to bring more awareness to the value of health, retirement and other benefit plans. Individuals involved in providing and servicing benefits plans are encouraged to take pride in their critical roles. The 2007 theme focuses on financial literacy and helping plan members make informed decisions about their health care choices. 

National Volunteer Week (Apr 15-21)
For one week each April, Volunteer Canada promotes National Volunteer Week (NVW). NVW is a time to honour and recognize Canadians who donate their time and energy through volunteering. NVW also raises awareness of the vital contribution volunteers make to our communities and our country.
