joins Green Shield Canada’s Preferred Provider Network

Green Shield Canada is pleased to announce the addition of The Eyewear Advantage Network to its Preferred Provider Network. The Eyewear Advantage Network is a national network of eyecare services which provides significant savings for Green Shield Canada plan members and their dependents, regardless of whether vision benefits are included in the plan.

Plan members and their dependents can enjoy the following discounts when they shop at any Sears Optical, Lens Crafters, and Pearle Vision stores across Canada:

• 30% off the regular retail price of a complete pair of prescription eyeglasses
• 20% off the regular retail price of non-prescription sunglasses and eyewear accessories

These savings cannot be combined with other discounts. To take advantage of these savings, plan members simply present their Green Shield Canada ID card at any of the above optical retailers.
